On(e) & T(w)o_No.4

DKK 9,500.00

Brooch, 2023

Janne K Hansen

Nordic Urban Mining silver 925, fine silver 999, and silk

The fabric can easily be replaced, allowing the wearer to insert a piece of cloth from a beloved, worn-out shirt or a treasured textile inherited from a grandmother or similar source.

The title "On(e) and T(w)o" refers to the relationship between the singular and the paired, as well as the concepts of "on" and "to." These pieces are connected to my 2016 project "Heavy Curtain," which combined simple and complex elements. In this collection, I work with the single (1) and the double (2) in terms of design, materials, and aesthetics. In some pieces, I aim to bridge past and present by embedding elements that symbolize memories, such as inherited textiles, alongside objects from the present, like a freshly picked blade of grass.

Shipment within 3-4 days unless otherwise agreed.
