  • About the Design

Inspired by the art of draping textiles over a chair, the collection captures the soft movements and delicate details of fabric. The design achieves a harmonious balance between softness and simplicity through a subtle fusion of form and material. Each piece in the collection is crafted from two elements of metal – the "fabric" and the "chair back" – meticulously joined to mimic the natural folds of fabric draped over a solid structure.

We have established design principles by setting certain rules. One of these is "Fabric Over Chair," where the thread (taut) and soft elements dominate the surface, creating a nearly non-metallic effect. These elements are brought together to both unify the piece and introduce tension to the form. The thread, with its simplicity, anchors the design in a taut and precise expression—a quality reflected in many of our jewelry pieces. Here, it is the sharp, distinct shape of the ring band that stands out.

The poetic "fabric" element is a nod to the artistic jewelry created by Janne in her jewelry art pieces. In this design, these aspects are harmoniously united.

    About the Designers

In close confidence and collaboration, we worked with a design student on the form development. This partnership involved a dynamic exchange: consolidating our design language while passing on our ideas to the student, who worked both independently and collaboratively with us. We enjoy working with the next generation, and this design is a clear expression of that approach.

  • We offer a carefully selected alloys made with Fairtrade gold. This means we support responsible mining and ensure fair working conditions for miners, while providing jewelry of the highest quality.

  • In Denmark, ring sizes are determined by the finger's circumference in millimeters. For example, if your finger's circumference is 54 mm, your ring size will be 54. Typical ring sizes for women range from 48 to 62, while men's sizes generally fall between 56 and 72.

How to Find the Right Ring Size:

The most accurate way to determine your ring size is by visiting us for an in-person measurement. If that’s not possible, you can use one of the following methods:

    1. Borrow a Ring Sizer from Us

We can send you a ring sizer so you can measure your finger at home. The cost is 80 DKK for shipping, plus a 200 DKK deposit. Once we receive the ring sizer back, we will refund the 200 DKK deposit.

    2. Measure Your Finger at Home

When measuring your ring size, make sure to measure the exact finger where the ring will be worn, as finger sizes can vary between the left and right hands. The ring should fit comfortably—not too loose or too tight. This method ensures the most accurate fit.

    3. If the Ring is a Gift

If the ring is a gift and you’re unsure of the recipient’s exact size, try to find a ring you believe will fit them. Place the ring on a ruler or caliper and take a photo. Send us the image, and we’ll do our best to determine the correct size. If the size is still not perfect, we offer a free resizing within the first month after purchase.

Ring sizes can vary by even half a millimeter, and there is often a difference between the fingers on the left and right hand. Therefore, it’s a good idea to contact us, so we can work together to find the best solution for a perfect fit.
