About the Design
The Hinomaru design draws inspiration from the Japanese flag, featuring a bold red circle symbolizing the sun. This design philosophy embodies simplicity, harmony, and balance, reflecting the deep connection between nature and artistry in Japanese culture.
About the Designer
Janne Krogh Hansen, originally trained as a goldsmith, has a background from the Design School Institute of Precious Metals in Copenhagen, where she developed a deep fascination with precious metals and their potential as artistic expressions. Please note, due to the untreated nature of sapphires, achieving identical colors and exactly the same carat weight is rare, but therein lies their beauty.
For a similar or different color, please contact us by requestor mail@goldfingers.dk. We will search for your preferred gemstone color and send you a quote along with a picture of the stone. Prices may vary depending on the color and size of the stone.

When you purchase diamonds from us, you always receive carefully selected options to ensure both quality and aesthetics. All of our larger diamonds (over 0.30 ct) come with a certificate from GIA (Gemological Institute of America). GIA is known as the most respected and trusted authority in the diamond industry, giving you confidence that your diamond has been evaluated according to strict standards. We work almost exclusively with GIA to guarantee consistency and high quality.
We primarily offer natural diamonds, which are typically found in white or slightly yellowish shades. To ensure the perfect diamond for your jewelry and preferences, we work closely with our diamond dealers in Antwerp. They help us find diamonds that match both your quality requirements and budget.
For those seeking a more budget-friendly alternative without compromising on beauty, we also offer lab-grown diamonds. These diamonds are created using green energy, and you can often get a larger stone for your money. However, it is important to note that lab-grown diamonds do not have the same rarity or future value as natural diamonds, as the market for these stones is widespread and continues to grow.
All our natural diamonds come with a unique certificate number, often laser-engraved on the diamond's girdle (the edge of the diamond). This number can only be seen with a 10-20x magnifying glass, making it easy to verify the authenticity of your diamond.
If you'd like to discuss sustainability or need help choosing between natural and lab-grown diamonds, we are ready for a personal conversation about your needs and preferences. The world is changing fast, and we closely follow how we can best advise you.

We offer a carefully selected alloys made with Fairtrade gold. This means we support responsible mining and ensure fair working conditions for miners, while providing jewelry of the highest quality.
When it comes to color, personal preference plays a big role, and we offer two beautiful options:
Warm Yellow: Our 18 kt gold are made from 75% Fairtrade gold, alloyed with silver and copper, creating a rich, warm yellow hue.
White Gold: For those who prefer an elegant gray tone, we offer 18 kt white gold, alloyed with silver and palladium. This combination results in a beautiful, warm gray color.
All of our Kirigami rings have a silky matte finish.
Unlike the common practice in the jewelry industry, where white gold is often rhodium-plated to achieve a whiter color, we prefer the natural warm gray of our alloy. This also eliminates the need for regular re-rhodium plating.
Our white gold is nickel-free, as we use palladium and silver in our alloys. While this makes our white gold rings slightly more expensive than yellow gold, we believe it’s a worthwhile investment in both comfort and quality.

In Denmark, ring sizes are determined by the finger's circumference in millimeters. For example, if your finger's circumference is 54 mm, your ring size will be 54. Typical ring sizes for women range from 48 to 62, while men's sizes generally fall between 56 and 72.
How to Find the Right Ring Size:
The most accurate way to determine your ring size is by visiting us for an in-person measurement. If that’s not possible, you can use one of the following methods:
1. Borrow a Ring Sizer from Us
We can send you a ring sizer so you can measure your finger at home. The cost is 80 DKK for shipping, plus a 200 DKK deposit. Once we receive the ring sizer back, we will refund the 200 DKK deposit.
2. Measure Your Finger at Home
When measuring your ring size, make sure to measure the exact finger where the ring will be worn, as finger sizes can vary between the left and right hands. The ring should fit comfortably—not too loose or too tight. This method ensures the most accurate fit.
3. If the Ring is a Gift
If the ring is a gift and you’re unsure of the recipient’s exact size, try to find a ring you believe will fit them. Place the ring on a ruler or caliper and take a photo. Send us the image, and we’ll do our best to determine the correct size. If the size is still not perfect, we offer a free resizing within the first month after purchase.
Ring sizes can vary by even half a millimeter, and there is often a difference between the fingers on the left and right hand. Therefore, it’s a good idea to contact us, so we can work together to find the best solution for a perfect fit.
